Sample the sites, sounds and foods of this most famous street in Barcelona - news stands, flower stalls, caged birds, artists, musicians and of course Spain's own human statues. Sample the cuisine of Catalan and the wines of Spain.

Day II

Day III

Half day tours - Old City and the Picasso museum or Gaudi and Modernism

Dinner and entertainment at Cava Codorniu and entertainment Catalonia style
As the attendees arrive at this 14th century winery famous for its cava (champagne) local Catalan entertainers including the "Big Heads" and the marvelous human towers greet them. While cocktails and tapas are served the attendees are offered tours of the cava's cellars. The folkloric entertainers escort the group through the museum and down to the great hall where a gourmet Catalan dinner awaits. As dinner ends the attendees are invited to gather outside to view the local dancers and experience a unique fireworks display prior to re-boarding coaches for the forty-five minute drive back to the Hotel Arts.

Day IV

Day at Leisure to experience the sites and sounds of Barcelona
Dinner at the Maritime Museum - Just a five-minute transfer to this 13th Century Shipyard converted to a fantastic museum…Upon entering the gates guests are directed to the surrounding exhibits. Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres are available in the museum's foyer along with an opportunity to have their photographs taken. The guests are then seated within the main room, which is surrounded with hundreds of candles and very tall candelabras. A catered gourmet dinner is served, while between courses, the attendees are entertained by one of Barcelona's famous Flamenco troupes. Being the last night of the program the evening ends in time for the attendees to return to the hotel and complete their packing for their return journey home.
